Soul Motion – Ascension Time 2012

February 2009, my good friend Mick played a tune while we were jamming guitars. I was immediately inspired by the Kinks style riff, so I shaped it up and crafted the tune.  What began was a weekly recording session in his living room and we soon found we had a real gem on our hands. I decided to write a song from Micks viewpoint and it came together well. The whole theme ‘Soul Motion – Ascension Time 2012′ is also inspired by our favourite website www.projectcamelot.org.

When it came to mixdown …what we had recorded as really only a sketch for a simple demo became a mixxing contest over at www.homerecording.com with over ten different participants giving it a go. The winner made it onto our budget video that we  made with my mobile phone video capability. What can I say?…we just love it li-fi!
